How it works
Discover meaningful support to improve the quality of your life and relationships.
We believe everyone deserves a safe space to feel heard, understood, and supported. Counselling can help reduce stress, strengthen emotional resilience, and bring more balance into everyday life.
With a compassionate and evidence-based approach, our practice focuses on helping you build healthier coping strategies, greater self-awareness, and lasting positive change — at a pace that feels right for you.

Individual Counselling
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, life transitions, burnout, or feeling stuck, individual therapy offers a supportive place to process what you’re going through.
Together, we work to uncover patterns, strengthen coping tools, and support emotional well-being so you can move toward a more fulfilling life

Teen Counselling
Adolescence can be overwhelming. Our sessions provide teens with a confidential and non-judgmental space to explore their feelings, navigate challenges, and build confidence.
We support issues such as anxiety, school stress, social pressures, self-esteem, identity, and emotional regulation — helping teens feel more grounded and understood.

Parent Counselling
Parenting comes with constant change, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
We work with parents to reduce overwhelm, improve communication at home, and develop supportive strategies for challenging behaviours or transitions.
Sessions focus on creating calmer homes, stronger relationships, and a clearer path forward.

Online / Video Counselling
Our secure video sessions offer the same level of care and connection from the comfort of your home.
Perfect for busy schedules, privacy needs, or those living outside the local area, online counselling provides flexible, accessible support without compromising the therapeutic experience.

Stories from those who’ve been there
Every journey is unique, but you may recognize yourself in these experiences. Here’s what clients are saying after working with Janet:

My experience working with Janet has been incredibly rewarding. Janet treated our session with respect and understanding by creating a non-judgmental environment, and helped to make sense of what seemed like chaos. We were able to build a trusting relationship with ease and she provided me with the tools to work on the precise problem I was having. As an added bonus, it helped that Janet has a light hearted and appropriate sense of humor.

Janet was a source of comfort & healing in my time dealing with alcoholism. As a mother, dealing with addiction, the immense sense of shame & stigma that seemed too heavy a burden for me to bear, then Janet provided hope & helped me realize my own worth & strength during my darkest hour. Janet’s way of providing the insight I needed helped me take that leap of faith to get better & onto a brighter future. If you are struggling, and need someone along side you when your world has become small, this woman with her professionalism, caring nature and sense of humor, will be your biggest blessing

Janet was extremely easy to open up to, and showed a great level of empathy during our session together. She made me feel like my problem was her only concern in the world, and I felt that she truly cared about what I had to say. She approached the subject gently, allowing me to direct where the conversation would go, yet still interjected appropriate questions along the way. I am grateful to have had someone like her to discuss my problem with, as I have never really spoken about the subject with anyone else. She made me feel comfortable, and showed a level of professionalism that I truly appreciate.
